Obagi Clear is from the Nu-Derm skincare line which fights common skin problems like skin damage, aging, discoloration, etc...

During my initial research for this product there was some confusion from some of the reviewers and I noticed most of the negative reviews (if not all) were complaining that this product did absolutely nothing for their acne.

Of course it didn't do anything to your acne because it's not an acne clearing product!

I can understand that the word "Clear" certainly invokes thoughts of many of the over-the-counter acne fighting products but really doesn't anyone bother to just read product summaries before they buy anymore?

Obagi Clear is actually made to whiten and brighten the skin. One of it's main active ingredients is something called hydroquinone (4%). This ingredient actually blocks the bodies natural production of melanin and hampers hyper-pigmentation problems. It will correct any discoloration you have in your skin and work to improve and even the overall tone of your skin.

If you have any age spots then Obagi Clear would be what you're looking for.

The pros behind this product are that it works well. With 4.3/5 stars on MUA people really like this one.

The cons are that its kind of expensive at around ! It can sometimes be difficult to find, but I've found a place that has it at a great price and it's usually in stock. I'll save that link for the end of the article.

So remember just because it has Clear in the name doesn't mean it's for acne! If you have a serious acne problem Obagi's line of acne-fighting skincare products is actually known as the Clenziderm line.
